Tour de Cure event day is packed with excitement as soon as you park and unload your bike. Parking is free and close - please follow signage and parking attendants' directions when you arrive. Check-in time depends on your route choice (or check in early on Saturday, September 28th - please see information in the section below).

Breakfast will be available before your ride, and after you cross the finish line, you can join the festivities and celebrate your accomplishments. Lunch in the ADA Cafe, the Wellness Village, Kids Zone, Beer & Wine area, Champions tent, Living Red tent, and team tents will be open beginning at 11:30 am and run until 4:00 pm. We recommend choosing a cycling route that will bring you back by early to mid afternoon with time to enjoy the fun and fellowship.

Join us and ride regardless of your skill level on your bike. Beginners can amble through Palo Alto on our 10K (6.5-mile) route. More intermediate riders will love our 50K (32-mile) route that takes you through Woodside. Feeling like adding some climbing? Go for the 70K (43-mile) that will take you alongside Upper Crystal Springs Reservoir. Expert riders will be rewarded with gorgeous mountain views on the 100K (64-mile) route that includes over 5500 feet of climbing as you scale Kings Mountain.

Tour de Cure Northern California is a one-day ride that starts and finishes at the beautiful HP campus in Palo Alto. Celebrate at the finish line with music, food, and drinks regardless of which route you choose to ride. Routes will have dedicated and fully-stocked recovery stations to fuel and refresh you along the ride.

Route and Rest Stops subject to change.

Matching gifts can be a great way to double or even triple your funds raised! Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Your company may match your donation as well as donations made by your co-workers if they also apply for matching gifts. Don't forget to encourage your donors to ask their companies about matching gifts too!

Please follow these steps for processing matching gifts:

  1. Find out if your company has a matching gift program, and if so, how they want you to submit your donation for the matching gift.
  2. Make your donation and follow your company's instructions to submit for a matching gift.
  3. Forward your matching gift submission receipt/confirmation email to ADA staff Tom Hall and Carolyn Eisen (thall@diabetes.org, ceisen@diabetes.org)
